Scones - Nom nom
Endlich kommt auch mal was von mir, hehe
Hier unser heutiges Frühstück :D
Rezept:
350g Mehl
1,5 TL Backpulver
0,5 TL Salz (ein bisschen mehr darf es auch sein)
75g Butter
4 EL Zucker
160g Buttermilch (ich hab 90g Milch und 70g Sahne genommen)
1,5 TL Natron
Alles zu einem Teig kneten (aber nicht zu lange!).
Den Teig 2-3cm dick ausrollen, mit einem Glas Kreise ausstechen und mit etwas Sahne oder Milch bestreichen, dann 10-12min in den vorgeheizten Ofen bei 200°C.
Die sind verdammt lecker, perfekt mit Marmelade :D

Goat Cheese Snacks
It doesn't get much easier than this!
Goat cheese, sweet&chili sauce, baquette. 5-10 minutes in the oven and done.

Wings!
Home made wings with a delicious marinade:

Buy wings without marinade and mix the following ingredients together:
Extra virgin olive oil
Lemon juice (at least 1 lemon)
Salt
Pepper
Red pepper spice
Honey
Mix all ingredient together and add the wings. Make sure all wings get some marinade, put them on a baking tray and sprinkle the marinade on the wings.
Let them cook for 30-40min in 200C.
Yum, they're delicious!

Serve with creme fraiche.

Every Wednesday when Top Chef Finland is on, I have to cook something a bit more special. This week I had an Italian week.

French Stew
On a cold Thursday night there is (almost) nothing better than a homemade stew:

Ingredients:

Ingredients:
600 g beef or other meat
2 tbs flour
1 tsb butter
1 onion
1 big garlic or 4-5 garlic gloves
2 ts oil
baby tomatoes
fresh champingnons
1 dl pickled onions (even if you don't normally like pickled onions, I swear they taste heavenly in this!)
400 g mashes tomatoes in a can
3 dl red wine
3 dl water
1 meat stock cube
salt
black pepper
1 ts thyme, preferably fresh
Cut the meat into medium sized cubes, roll them in flour and fry them a bit in a pan, so that they get a bit brown.
Put the browed meat cubes in your pot, fry onions, baby tomatoes, champignons and garlic and mix them with meat. Add smashed tomatoes, red wine, water, meat stock cube and spices.
Let the pot simmer in an oven in 150C for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
